Voting has already begun!
Here is some helpful information to make sure you’re prepared:
Register to vote or confirm your voter registration – at lavote.gov’s registration page. You must register by Monday, May 18 2026 to be eligible to vote in the June 2 Primary Election. - Receiving and Tracking Your Mail-in Ballot
All registered voters should have already received their ballot in the mail. For more information on voting by mail, tracking your ballot once you do vote by mail, ensuring your vote was received and counted, getting a replacement ballot and more, see lavote.gov’s vote by mail page. - NEW and IMPORTANT deadline to Mail-In Ballots
If you are voting by mail, it is critical that you mail in your ballot, or drop it off at the post office, no later than Tuesday, May 26. New post office rules mean that some offices don’t postmark mail on the same day it is put in the mailbox, which could cause postmark delays. Mailing in your ballot early will ensure your ballot is received and your vote is counted. - Dropbox Locations
The safest place to drop your mail-in ballot to ensure your ballot arrives in time and your vote is counted is an Official Dropbox. Input your address here to find the closest dropbox! - In-Person Voting
You can also still vote in person if preferred. Vote centers will be open May 23 – June 1 from 10 AM – 7 PM and on Election Day, June 2 from 7 AM – 8 PM. Input your address here to find the closest in-person vote center! - Military and Overseas Voting
If you are an eligible Military & Overseas voter, see lavote.gov’s military & overseas page for more information about the process to ensure your ballot is counted.
